Wilson death in rillington or scampston
« on: Thursday 17 September 09 18:50 BST (UK) »
Hi

I am hoping someone can help me find the death of Luke and/or Martha WILSON in either Rillington or Scampston between 1800 and 1837.  They were both born around 1750 in Rillington.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Tricia

Hi Tricia
Cant find any deaths yet but did find I think their marriage. It states that Luke Willson with 2xll's born 1746 in Scampston married Martha Barker on 1st Nov 1771 in Rillington. Most of these villages are not too far from each other and when due to give birth the ladies went to relatives etc so could have been in a different village just to give birth.
Found an interesting site of Rillington and found marriages for 1803=1815 found another Wilson - John, but dont know if it was a relative of your Luke. He married a Mary Whiting on 13th May 1813.  Have you got any further info on the family or are you stuck with just Luke and Martha?
