An Cosantóir is the official magazine of the Irish Defence Forces. You can access back issues of the magazine going back to 1940 at http://www.dfmagazine.ie/. 

In addition to articles of interest to military readers, An Cosantoir also provides information on army competitions and sports throughout the years with the names and units of winners. 

It might be of some interest to researchers.

It would not let me view the bask issues unless I was registered.
 No matter which page I went to on that site I could not find a page to register on. Can you?

Hi Tom,
I didnt have to register to view them.  All I did was go to the back issues page and click on the year I wanted.  The magazine then launched as a pdf document.
