1871 - can anyone read this please?
« on: Friday 18 September 09 19:22 BST (UK) »
Hi

I am looking at Thomas Kirkup bn 1844 Northumberland.  He is son of william and ann. In 1861 he is noted as blind, but in 1871 (living in Lowick) there is a longer note in the 'extras' column to the right of the page.

Can anyone read, and translate it for me?

thanks
Northumberland - Addison, Bowles, Kirkup, Lowes, Mason, Patterson, Richley, Venus, Wardle, Williams
Durham - Pears, Robertson, Richley, richelieu, Summerell
Norfolk and Essex - Bowles, Ninham, Wiseman
Glos - Summerell, Williams

You can't copy the whole thing - copyright and all that but if you have saved the image of the orginal census to your computer then crop the bit that you need us to see and attach the image to your message.  Just under the message box you'll see it written in blue.
