Birth/Death Look-up request please

Hello,
I am told my Grandma had twins and both died at birth, I have found one birth and death Violet M Matthews 1912 West Ham.
I am trying to ascertain if the other child is a Lilian Matthews b1912 d1912 West Ham to a mother named Dredger

If the other twin was stillborn, there will not be any birth registration

The mothers maiden name is SHARMER.

If your grandma's twins were both registered then they would have consecutive page numbers. The likely scenario is as Carole sugegsted that the baby was stillborn and therefore not registered.

I see that your grandparents were married in 1903-the babies born as twins were in Mar 1907.

Subsequently baby Grace died, also in the March 1/4 of 1907.

And Walter a short time later in the June 1/4.

I think it very likely that these babies are the ones you mean.

PS this is before mothers maiden names were shown of course- so the only way to find out for sure is to buy the certs.

Elizabeth had a daughter who fell down stairs and hit her head, contracted menijitus and died, may be this is Violet?? think she was 4 years old, think i have a picture!!!
