hi im searching for my great grand parents ,thomas mc shane married to mary ann legate or ligate of the parish of shankill lurgan co armagh....i have the address where they lived  church walk in 1900 the year my granny alice was born..but thats all i can find ,i would  like any info on thomas and mary ann . regards deirdre.

hi deirdre,

have you had any luck finding them in the 1911 census? i tried and couldn't find anything near at all. did they stay in lurgan?

hi tony,i have searched in every county in ireland in the 1911 census and found nothing...i know of 2 address for them church walk LURGAN where my granny alice mc shane was born 1900 and francis st lurgan  where john patrick her brother was born1905 and their aunt ellen liggett was born1873 this i got from the church records in lurgan......CANT THINK WHERE THE FAMILY COULD HAVE BEEN ON CENSUS NIGHT???? D

Deirdre,there's nothing to beat that feeling of finally finding something you've been searching for. I just sit back in my chair with a huge grin and it's impossible to remove that grin for a long time after ;D.
 I hope we both get that feeling again soon 8)
