I have a Robert Willes (sometimes spelt Willis) who is said to have died on 10th October 1806, this date was given on some court papers in 1807. He was born between 1764-1767 in Southampton. He worked as a corkcutter/cork merchant in London, Hampshire and IOW, and his son was born in Romsey and baptised in Southampton in 1797.
I have checked a lot of the London parishes but can't locate a burial for him yet so I'm hoping he may have been buried in Hampshire.
His widow was Rhoda Ann Willes or Willis (nee Largent), she was baptised 1769 and is last mentioned in her mother's Will which was dated 1814 so presumably she was still alive at that date. I can't find a remarriage or a burial for Rhoda in London so I'm hoping that she too may have been buried in Hampshire/IOW.
If any one can help I'd be really grateful, many thanks.
