Stranorlar church records
« on: Thursday 15 May 08 11:06 BST (UK) »
Hi

I wonder if anyone is looking for baptisms in Stranorlar would they be able to keep an eye open for any Whittakers (sic) please?
I am especially interested in the following but there may be others I don't know about yet!

Whittaker/Whittekar/Whittager (etc!)

William b.c. 1820
David b.c. 1840
William b.c. 1846-1868
Barbara b.c. 1853 - 1866
William born August 1884 in Beltany

The dates are what I have managed to find via the census and deaths but they vary so much, they could have been born either side of these dates.

If it helps and I am sorry but I get confused with the townlands etc., but when they died they were living in Sheercloon but Stranorlar was the district on the certificates.

Many thanks

Hi

Another one for Stranorlar but I thought it might be easier to list them separately.

If anyone is looking for marriages in Stranorlar/Sheercloon would they be kind enough to keep an eye out for any Whittaker people please?

Whittaker/Whittager/Whittekar

I am looking for a marriage of a William Whittaker circa -1840+

but if any others come up tht would be great too thank you.

Many thanks
