i am trying to make a connection with my hoods this robert hood was a clockmaker and my hoods where clockmakers in dorset aswell so any help would be great i need to get as far back as possible eek

Robert and Mary married Dec 22, 1823 they had two children
Robert Hood born Dec 31, 1823 died 1891 with his son my grandfather present
Emma Susanne Hood born  April 01, 1825
Robert Hood married Mary Ann Rose Feb 20, 1855
Emma Hood married Charles Elton 1851
Robert Hood and Mary Ann had 8 children one of which was my grandfather Edward Francis Hood who came to Canada in 1908
These Hood were both Clockmaker's and have clocks in a museum in England
I have had trouble getting back any further than Robert Hood born 1800  but am looking all the time.
