I am new to researching in Ireland, so I'm still learning about all the best resources. I have an ancestor that I would like learn more about. Here's what I know - any suggestions? I'm working from Canada, so on-line resources or stuff readily available from an LDS Family History Centre would be appreciated.
William Patterson, b. <1861> son of Thomas and Mary. Religion: Church of Ireland. Arrived in Canada in 1880, married a Williamina Sinclair from Scotland in Canada. My great-aunt, his grand-daughter, seems to think he was from the village of Drumquin (Parish of Longfield West), but I have no proof. I don't know if he had siblings.
