In prison !

I am trying to trace a Joseph Leech aged about 61 in 1861. I have been unable to find him but now  I think he may be in prison in the Chester area, having found out he was convicted of a felony in about 1855.  I have found his wife on the 61 census with her children, listed as married, but her husband is absent.  Any help to solve this would be appreciated.

Hi Ricky, he was from Wolverhampton, in 51 he was a railway policeman in Denbighshire, his wife was Mary Ann born in Belfast aged 45 in 61 living in Wolverhampton.

If your Joseph Leech had a wife and 6 children,and was a Railway policeman I found a bit in a newspaper.I have downloaded it, so if you would like it Use the P.M. to send me your email.
