Where is Charlotte DEEN buried?

Hello,

I am trying to find when/where Charlotte Agnes Deen (nee Brown) was buried.  According to the 1954 census, she was living at the Hotel Lithgow, working as a chef at age 72.  I cannot find a listing in the NSW BDM therefore ?? if she died in QLD as she had family there. 

Any tips on how I can find out more info would be appreciated.

Hi,

I am not sure where he is buried.  There is a bloke by the same name as Charlotte's husband (Charles Mohamed) in the nsw bdm index who died in 1975 but I think that would have made him about 97 years old.  He was an  Indian Hawker and labourer so he would have done well to live to that age.

If there is no listing on the nsw bdm death index, does that mean that Charlotte didn't die in nsw (or maybe that she got remarried late in life??)?

Was her husbands name Charles Mohamed or Charles Mohamed Deen?

What were her parents names please

sorry, and her parents were Sarah Ann Brown (nee Byron) and William Brown.
William was American.

On the Ryerson index of Death notices is a Charles Deen of Penrith died January 1975 but he was aged 64 so it looks as though he doesn't match.

Interesting, though, as the surname and combination of forenames are pretty unusual.

Thanks Judith.  I do know that Charlotte's son, Charles died in 1975 but his middle name wasn;t Mohamed.  Charles Jnr did live around Penrith from what I understand.

I do not think that Charles was Charles Mohamed Deen's birth name.  He was born in Pakistan (India at that time) so I would imagine that the name Charles was adopted by him on his arrival.  I have been unable to trace his entry into Australia.
