Hi, I assume that you have the exact date of the accident? You could check out local newspapers to see if it was reported. If you contact Aberdeen City Library (local studies department),they will do a look up for you in the "Press & Journal".
The headquarters of the Aberdeenshire Library Service is in Oldmeldrum & can be contacted on www.alis(at)aberdeenshire.gov.uk. They have back copies of a weekly paper & will also look them up for you.

I have no information on John Fullerton but I would be very interested if he might have a connection to the Fullerton family that was in Benholm, Kincardine, circa 1760-1840 and spread up the coast (and elsewhere) in succeeding generations.  I know of at least one related family living in Stonehaven in the late 1800s and I believe I recall a connection to Old Meldrum at one point.  Please let me know if additional information would be helpful in making a connection.
Those Fullertons and related names associated with the family of George Fullerton and Margaret Pirie who resided at Mains of Dun about 1740 and Knox of Benholm after 1760, and their descendents scattered from Lunan to Peterhead, across Canada and the United States, and assuredly elsewhere.
