All i know, John Joseph born Carnmoney about 1836.  He married Bridget and had son Joseph born 1858, both ireland, no idea of area. At some point they came to Liverpool England and then to St Helens Lancashire, about 10 miles from Liverpool.  Bridget died 1885 and John Joseph married my ggrandmother Ellen Robertson.  I've no idea about his parents or possible siblings.  I did find a soldier of Fulwood Barracks Preston Lancashire on 1851c age 15. Kept this info as a possibility. Could he have signed up at that age? Thanks for any help again. EMC

EMC,
He could certainly have signed up at that age. I did, and that was in 1958.

Have just come across a Letitia Archbold (1833-1867) from Carnmoney I mbelieve who married a Samuel Moreland in Cliftonville (Donegal St) Presbyterian Church in 1851. Her father was Robert.

Anybody know any more of this family?

Hi.
Archibolds listed in "Carnmoney Presbyterian Baptisms" three pages over.
Sorry I have not got the smarts to make a link to them, but the posting is easy to find.
