Now a care home, can anyone tell me the original function of Creedy House in New Romney (Littlestone) please?

It was a convalescent home for women & girls built in 1902 see http://www.hereshistorykent.org.uk/ (1934 directory and photographs)

Many thanks - most kind of you to reply.  However I can't find the 1934 directory on the website you recommend.  I guess I'm not looking in the right place.
