Need Help Restoring 2 Photos

Not bad shape for 91 years.  This is the Ryan family of Whitestone, Queens, N.Y. behind their home on what's now 12th Road.  My great-grandfather is in the back row on the right, standing next to his mother.

The second photo is circa 1865 (I believe).  This is Henry McLain, first cousin of my great-great-great grandfather.  He was born in Co. Longford in 1831 and he looks to be mid-30s.  At the time, he was a constable in the Irish Constabulary in Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh. I tried to work with it a little in a basic program, but just can't fix that "blurry" look
