Alfred HILL Relatives
« on: Wednesday 04 November 09 09:56 GMT (UK) »
I am searching for any relatives of Alfred HILL born approx 1915, he used to reside at 3 Windmill Cottages, Gloucester - His mother's name was Lilian Gladys BINGHAM ( nee PARSONS).
Anybody know if Windmill Cottages are still there?

 ??? ,

Unless you are very lucky - they have  been knocked down but a chatter with an elephantine memory reads this or somebody who really knows Gloucester city very well reads this - you are unlikely to find the answer without a bit more info such as the name of the road the cottages were in.

You can wander around a 100 year old map of Gloster via http://www.old-maps.co.uk/index.htm   I doubt if you will find the cottages named but . . . .

Regards

Chas

Hi
Thanks for the reply...the houses were on Derby Road, however I also believe that they have been knocked down by now...but worth a try.
