Looking in Particular for Joseph Edward Huntrods or Huntrod, Memorial inscription or Burial Info,  Possible buried in Eldon nr Bishop Auckland or In Bishop Auckland itself, thanks

according to the bmd his death was recorded in june 1916 so somewhere round that time.   thanks

There's no Huntrods or Huntrod in my list of MI's for Eldon.

hi thanks for that, sorry i havent god back to you sooner i've been off line due to moving.  do you have any suggestions as to where else he cold be buried closest place i can think of is the big church at south church

Julie he may still of been buried at Eldon just that he doesn't have a headstone or its been removed.

Do you mean Rosemount Road Cemetery? I don't think that was open in 1916.

The burial register for Eldon for 1916 is held at Durham Archives, you could contact them & ask them to check it out, tho not having his death date they will charge a search fee.  If you have the date they may check it out for free.

Hiya sorry i dont know what the cemetery is called is just i've drove past the church a few times and they have graves in the actual church yard where are the archives at durham i might have to pop through

I have access to the burial records held by St Mark's Church Eldon (some records are only available at Durham Records Office since they were filed before photocopying was available). I also have scanned 2 account books of Mr Clark a local Funeral director from about 1912-1930.
Unfortunatley these can only be searched visually.

I also have a photo and document archive for Eldon.
