WATTS Family of Rickmansworth
« on: Thursday 10 March 05 13:17 GMT (UK) »

   Hi Rick
could you help me please I have been on line looking for links to my great grandfather relative in Rickmansworth, Trying to find the link to Emma Lucy Watts who died in 1952.
I looked at the family History on line and found some names that are the same as the names I have on the 1852 Census.
because I don't like to use my credit card on line can you help trace the names.
The names I have  from the Hertfordshire FHS INDEX.
Mary  Watts found in the national burials index
also 7 entries in the 1881 census.

My Mary was married to Joseph Watts in 1881 he would
have been 67 yrs old and Mary 77yrs old.
Joseph Watts in the national Burial index there are 2 entries.

Any help you can give would bee appreciated, I have a few on the on the list but we will see how we go with this lot.
if I lived in England it would be much easier .
thankyou Dampier

Hello Dampier

The 1881 census is available freely at www.familysearch.org and can be searched quite easily.

What more do you know about Emma Lucy Watts? How old was she when she died in 1952, or when / where was she born?  Have you found her in the 1901 census, if she was born by then?
That should hopefully give her parents and help you work back to the 1881 census.

Post any details you have here.

Best wishes

Paul
