Hi  - Hope someone can help with details of this badge please?

The badge of on a uniform my brother has just bought. Royal Marines I believe. The pic was sent via web cam so Its not brilliant. 
Aberdeen: Coulthard, Chilcott, Bartie, Wallace, Clark, Robertson, Warrander, Hunter, Brown
Lincolnshire: Chilcott, Barratt, Robinson, Twidale, Beacock

How old is the uniform - the RM band at dartmouth was disbanded about 3 years ago, wonder if its one of theirs?

Not sure how old it is, he bought it recently as he remembers our father wearing one similar when he younger.

Bit odd....

I would expect a crown above the lyre on a British military uniform....

Its a Bootneck Bandys badge ( Musician) is the uniform a green one it looks like a stripe from the Lovat Jacket in gold.
