St Peters Church, Leeds. 1826 Christening
« on: Friday 13 November 09 14:16 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

Is there anyone who would be so kind as to check the parish register for a James Walker, christening date 7 May 1826 (as per LDS) and William Buckton Walker, christening date 29 Aug 1824, please?

I would like to know the fathers occupation in the hope of establishing that James and William are brothers.

James has a son called James William Bucklot Walker b 1867, so again I'm hoping that even though there is a variation in the spelling of Buckton/Bucklot it could be an indication of a family link.

Thank you for looking

JJ

No worries JJ, given the age of your original post it was always likely that you had already found the information.  As I've been digging around the Leeds, St Peters records over the last few days it was a quick diversion !

Best wishes
