WIGMORE surname Census information

Could anyone please look for the WIGMORE surname any where in Wiltshire in any Census other than 1881 as I have that one.  The main places of residence were  Nettleton,  Grittleton,  Castle Combe,  Yatton Keynell as far as I know.  Any information would be much appreciated.

Hi Tuppy,

                     I don't think you realise how many there are. In 1871 there are 66 entries for Wigmore born in Wiltshire. If you told us which Wigmore families you are looking for and take it one step at a time you would get the info you wanted.

Many thanks for your reply.  I had no idea how many there would be on the Census but if you are able to find some I would be very happy to receive anything for Nettleton and Grittleton.  Just hope there are not too many for those locations.

Hi,

       there is nothing for Nettleton or Grittleton or Yatten keynell in 1871

There is only one for Castle Coombe and she is Hannah Wigmore age 33 a lady's maid for Fanny Edin. 13 Prince of Wales Terrace, Kennsington, London.

I then had a look on the 1851 for the same areas and this is the only family I could find.

Anna        "          Dau  14             b.     "           "
Rhoda      "          Dau  11             b.     "           "

they were living in Castle Coombe
