York: Private Cemetery: Bankrupt in 1960's

Trying to locate a private cemetery in York.
It was an old cemetery and still operating in the 1960's but I think it then went bankrupt.
Does anyone know of such a cemetery and where it is located?

Why not try a letter to the editor of the local newspaper? I have used this means on several occassions, and so far have always succeeded.

Hopefully the records will be continous, and not have lost the early stuff from before the closure.

Thanks for the information.
I am not sure whether this is the one I remember when burying my grandfather.
I was quite small at the time and remember the cemetery as being very small and in a residential area.
..... but then my memory may not be correct.
I see there are 55 similar surnames there, so I will have to check here just in case.
