Hi Sheenamac
Isn't it fantastic to find more relatives.
I assume the Elizabeth that married Joseph Morgan is the daughter of Hugh and Mary and that Hugh is the 9th child of Jean & John Wylie...
It's getting late so tomorrow I will let you have the info I have. Jean & John were my 4x greatgrand parents. I am decended from John Wylie (Joseph's older brother) who married Jean Kenneth in 1820.

Great stuff,Sarah.  I was able to add a bit to my info and I can add a bit to yours.  Here goes.

Giving me Janet Weir's dob helped me find her parents on FamilySearch.  They are Jon Weir and Jonet Broune (Brown).

Robert Sp.  I think the marriage should be 1737 not 1773 - just a typo probably.  I've got Euphon's b as 25March 1712 (is Euphon m or f).  I think some of the days/months have got confused between the American habit of writing m/d/y and the UK habit of writing d/m/y.  For example, I've got william's b as 11 April not 4 Nov. George as 2 Nov, not 11 Feb. Joseph as 12 Oct not 10 Dec.

I have Elizabeth Dickie's b as 4 June 1761 which can't be right - I'll check that.  I have her parents as Robert Dickie and Ann Glen and other connections, but if her dob is not 1761 they're probably wrong too.

I have Elizabeth Spurlings b as 19 June 1777.  I have John Wylie's b as 4 Sept 1755 in Inverkip, Renfrewshire.  I'd be interested to have further on your John Wylie to see where it all fits.  I also have a note of a birth 1761 in Kilwinning, so clearly I hadn't confirmed the connection yet.

I have John and Jean's children as being born in Kilwinning not Corsehill which came from IGI.

I have your John as dying in 26 Jan 1871.  Margaret b 7 August, Jane 11 Dec, Joseph b 1798, James 3 Jul 1807, Barbara 2 Apr 1803, Agnes 23 Oct 1805, d 1853 Greenock.

Did I pick up that you live in Aus? I live in North Queensland but still have family in Scotland.  I visited Kilwinning and Ayr last year and can now picture Pathfoot and Bridgend.  Saw some Wylie gravesites and learned about the inns they owned, and viewed the clock tower containing the clock made by one of our ancestors.

Hi there.
Sorry for the delay in replying but I have had a total computer failure and am only just getting up and running again. I had most of my tree backed up but now have to discover how much is missing. That along with loosing all my favourites list and email addresses is going to cause a few problems.
You are right about the transposition of dates. It happened when I changed genealogy progs . I found most of them but obviously not all.
I will get round to checking all you have given asap. Many thanks
By the way I live in England

Hi Sharon,  Hope you can recover everything. Once I thought I'd lost everything and was in shock for about 10 hrs till I could take my laptop into my IT person at work - who recovered it all in about 30secs!  I'm sending you a private message.

Hello there.  Just wondering if you're still researching.  I've picked up the pieces of my FH and found a message you sent some time ago.  It's giving me lots of good information but I have questions.
