Hi Cissellby

Yet again, no message to say that you had posted so many apologies, I haven't checked the site in a while!

Well I still haven't had so much as a sniff of either George and his parents in 41 or George and Sarah in 1851 despite look ups on name indexes, searching trade and post office directories and numerous look ups on possible connections at the LMA

Am beginning to think these people left the country on census night!

Hi you two
Thanks for the refs. Cissellby  - worked out now why cannot find Stepney Green - parts of Paddington/Kensal Green are missing - including Edgware Road - in fact it seems most of Paddington area is missing - only a few bits and pieces are available.
Don't know if this means they are missing - full stop -
missing - as yet not filmed - or what.
Sorry Cougar.

Hi Cougar

Thanks for that!  I really don't know what to do about this family although another marriage cert has arrived this morning.

This is from 1839 and states the address as All Souls, Marylebone, which doesn't tell me a great deal either!

I assume All Souls is another area within Marylebone...they sure liked to move house!

Hello

I'm doing a bit of housekeeping and wondering if this older request has been resolved in the meantime or you are still looking for the information?  If the latter, do you have any further information to hand?

If I don't hear from you in a while I'll assume this is resolved and move it to the 'completed' section.

Regards
Biker  :)

I know this post was started some time ago.... but wondered if a Paddington lookup for 1841 was still possible?

I found an old note that says Mary FLETCHER (born c1816) was living at Connaught Square, Paddington, Middlesex. I would love to know the details.

Many thanks

Unfortunately not. As mentioned several times in the above thread, Paddington is largely missing from the 1841 census. That's not just 'missing from Ancestry' (or wherever), but totally missing, i.e. lost before filming.
