Marriage at Stockport 1837

I hope I have chosen the right board.
I am hoping that someone might be able to confirm details of a marriage 23 Feb 1837 at Stockport of Thomas Hadfield and Sarah Garlick.If possible I would like to ascertain the names of the witnesses.
Am I correct in assuming that the name of the parents would not be shown on the original record.
