George William Hunter born US in 1892

i am looking for the birth of George William Hunter, British Subject, born in the US in 1892.  (age 9 in 1901 census in England)


Parents were John and Mary Hunter (mother's maiden name Wedgewood)

He also had the following siblings born in the US

Margaret A 1894  (age 7 in 1901 census in England)

Mary  E 1897  (age 4 in 1901 census in England)

Any help much appreciated.

Do you have any idea what state he was born in?  Birth records will be kept at the state or town level of government here.

The census was in 1900. Were they still in the US?  There were 2,000 John Hunters in the US Census in 1900.

thanks - only info i have is possibly Ohio or one of the virginias....

shown in UK 1901 census with child of 4 born in US and child of 1 born in UK
