Thanks for that,I served my apprenticeship there from 1964 to 1968,The happiest time of my life,
Glad to hear it was,nt through me leaving that it closed down ;D

In a way IBIS lives on through two local Kendal companies - MD Laundry and Kannegiesser (formerly Ducker Engineering - laundry conveyor equipment).
