Trickett/JAckson Families of Caerphilly

Hello, I am an ancestor of William Trickett thru his son John Trickett Jackson, his grandson Samuel JAckson, his great grandson Horace JAckson, to my grandmother who was Pauline Jackson Silagy.  I would love to be in touch with anyone who may have any information on this family, how William Trickett left for Austrailia, ( or did he die in a barn as one newspaper article suggests)  How the Trikett sons came to be adopted by the JAckson Family...were there any daughters, etc.  If you can please add anything to this information, I would be extremely grateful.

Is anyone related to William Trickett 1800 married to Elizabeth Burton deported to Tasmania in 1845. From Newark Nottingham. Has a son John Trickett 1830 married to Hannah Clewer who had a son Samuel Trickett/ Jackson living in Caerphilly.

I am a direct descendent of William Trickett and Elizabeth Burton. It's hard to tell who I might be already in contact with here, as being a forum we are all using handles... but if it gives anyone a clue, I am Australian, and the child of William and Elizabeth Trickett who I have descended from is Mary Ann, who married a Thomas Walstowe.

I was unable to figure out how to PM the people who have posted in threads about this family, even after reading the help file. Perhaps private messaging only becomes available after being active in the forum for a while... but please feel free to contact me if there's a way to do it. My information on the Tricketts is very limited as I have only recently gotten into these searches, but I'd like to hear from anyone with information.

I am so glad to hear from you... if all our information is correct, we are cousins!!!!  You may not be surprised that we have many more members of the family in Austraila... as well as many left in the UK.  In fact we have informally assembled a family research team of about 6 cousins so far.. and we have a tremendous amount of information...
