Hi,

Wondering if anyone is able to advise on whether it's possible to find any information on Merchant Seaman based for quite a period in Hong Kong (worked for Jardine-Matheson's who were essentially based in HK and I believe their ships would be registered there).

Not sure if he retired in Hong Kong (or anywhere else overseas), but can't track down a return to the UK. Last information I can find is Merchant Navy Discharge Pouch from 1959.

Does anyone have any idea of how I might find information of people in Hong Kong, or whether he may have retired and lived overseas?

Any clues would be appreciated,
