Killydonnelly, Rasharkin

I am wondering if anybody could give me any information on Killydonnelly, or may be related to any of the Calderwood families who lived there in the 19th century. I know there was a Calderwoodstown back then. I have looked at the 1851 census abstracts, and do have a couple of certs but am interested to see if someone may be researching the same family, and I am willing to share information with them.

My father was born in Killydonnelly in 1934 and my great great grandfather was Mathew Calderwood..

Killydonnelly is a townland in Rasharkin Civil Parish
no Calderwood  in tithes applotment books   1823-37 doesnt mean much

Calderwood and Catherwood are interchangeable in Ulster. There's a Catherwoodstown in Movenis (County Londonderry) not far from Killydonnelly but I don't recall a Calderwoodstown in Rasharkin area.

Hey, this is maybe 15 years too late but I have been researching my family history more this past week and have recently confirmed that I am a descendant of Calderwoods in Killydonnelly and also still live in Killydonnelly. My surname is Patterson and my great great grandfather, Robert Patterson married an Eliza Calderwood and moved into her family's farm. Said farm is still in my family's possession with my dad as the current owner. I don't know if you'll read this but I stumbled upon this forum whilst researching and just thought I'd leave what I know.
