Hi Sebrofa

I'm so sorry, but I only seen your question today.  Yes there is one grave for Bell in the Old Cemetry as follows:-

[Erected in memory] of John Bell late of Ballyministra who depd this life 22nd June 1821 aged 70 years Also Jane his wife 24th March 1794 aged 45 And their daughter Mary 24th March 1795 agd 17 Also their daughter Nancy 14th April 1857 aged 80 And their son David 2nd March 1862 aged 74 .

Can send you a photograph if you would like.  Please send me your email address via private message and I can forward it on.  Where do you live, there are loads of Bells buried around Ballymena.

Hi there

Thank you for your very kind reply and offer.  I would a photo of the grave, if it is not too much trouble.  I live in London during the week and at weekends in the Midlands.  My mum's Parents were Henry Dougan Sandford and Agnes Jane Bell.  A lot of the Bells lived in or near Clifton Street in Belfast at the end of 1800's and early 1900's.  I have been looking for Mary Jane Flack who married William James Bell.  My mums family came from Ballymena and went to Belfast but I don't know when or why.  I have been unable, so far, to find a marriage for WJ Bell and Mary Jane Flack but these are the names on my grandmothers birth certificate.
Any info you have access to, would be gratefully accepted.

Thank you once again for your very kind offer

Kind regards

Anne  :)

Hi
You will have to send me your email address so I can send you photograph.  Send via personal message.
Perhaps they never married? Had you thought of that?

Anne,
I cannot find the marriage of William James Bell and Mary Jane Flack but the following children were born to William JOHN Bell and Mary Jane Flack in Belfast according to a parent search on the IGI:-

16 Jul 1873 Rebina (sic) Gallagher Bell
5   Jul 1875 Mary Jane Bell

Hi  - particularly Anne, hope you are still monitoring this

I just saw the name Henry Dougan Sandford on this thread.  I have been researching the Sandfords in Belfast and think he was my g/g/uncle.  His father was William John Sandford and his mother was Margaret Ann Cooper.  When WJ died she re-married a Thomas Stewart so I found her through the WW1 records of her other son Samuel where she was listed as a dependant
