Victorian BDM lookup for Peters

Hi,
I would like to find the children of William Peters = Maria Beddell in Casterton Vic 1878.
On william's NSW death cert. it lists 4 children & 1 female deceased. I think the youngest Florence was born in NSW.

A simple search only reveals the following....

William Richard PETERS born 1881 at CAST to William PETERS & Maria BEDDELL
Ref = 22126


I'll dig a little deeper......

Alice Emma PETERS born  1885 at  NHIL to William PETERS & Mariah BEDDELL
Ref = 12324

Here's a third.....but there's an awfully big gap   between Alice and Martha..... there must be more in between somewhere....... 

Martha Ruth Hope PETERS born 1899 at HOPETOUN to Wm PETERS & Maria BEDDELL
Ref = 27236

Can't see any births in NSW between 1875 and 1908, but they moved around a bit, because here's one in South Australia......

Ellen Elizabeth Esther PETERS born 11th July 1883 at Bordertown, South Australia to
William PETERS & Maria BEDDELL.
Ref = Wel 308/146

Thats great!
The death cert lists William R, Ellen ER, Martha R H, Florence E W & one female deceased.
It looks as if  Alice Emma is the one who died. Is there any record of her dying in Vic or SA.

I can't find a birth for Florence. 

I'll check for the death of Alice for you.

I can't find the death of Alice Emma  with parents  William and Maria in Victoria up to 1985.

In South Australia and NSW I could only search for her as Alice Emma Peters, and nothing turned up.

What date was the death certificate? Could Alice Emma have married?

I do have one death record that might be worth  some consideration, though it's not spot o n. However, if the information was either given incorrectly or recorded incorrectly, it may be a possibility......Place, age, father and given names match........

Alice Emma PETERS aged 36 weeks  died in 1886 at NHILL.
Ref =  2838
BUT her parents don’t match…..father was Wm PETERS….but mother given as Elizth STORRISS.   


I might be missing something....it happens......so someone else might like to have a look for you..

Hi Dee, I notice that Alice was born in Nhil in 1885, so it all fits bar the mother. When I downloaded the marriage cert of William and Maria some of it was different to the index (index said Maria born Adelaide & cert. said Sandhurst Vic). I would like to bet that this is the right Alice. I tried looking through the NSW index to see if she married as she would have been only about 15 in 1900 when they came up to Parkes, but found nothing.
