Orpans???

Maisie May Glasby, Albert Glasby was put into an orpanage
in 1915/16 Not sure if John Henry was put there or not.
Albert Glasby was only 3 when they were in there and he didnt remember a John Henry being born, or with him or his sister.
Maisie May Glasby born May 6 1912
Albert Glasby born July 12 1913
John Henry Glasby born nov 28 1914.
The mother to these 3 kids are Lizzie (Elizabeth) (Perks) Glasby
The Father was John Henry Glasby died march 13 1915 in france.
Im trying to find out where they were placed, and if Baby John was placed with his siblings.
Where can i find that out?

You need to know where they were living at the time,orphanages were run by Local Councils,the Church or Barnardos.The records if they exist will be held in the local Archive collection or in the case of the Roman Catholic Church held at their own Archive.

Birmingham C.B (not sure what C.B stands for) 141 Wheeler Street.
How do I start the search for them?
The parents were married at St.Paul of Aston would I
look there?

C.B probably City Borough.You need to contact B'ham Library Archive this is where the records will be if anywhere & ask them what records they hold if any on B'ham orphanage's c.1915.The 100 year rule may apply.Forgot one,the Sir Josiah Mason Orphanage Erdington.
Which orphanage children were placed in was quite often down to cost.

We are not allowed to post info of people who are possibly still living, but looking for descendants of these couples might help. You could try an ad in their local papers and/or look at local FHS to see if anyone is researching the same names.
