1861 look up Yorkley

Help please,iv been told that Yorkley in the Forest of Dean,comes under Monmouthshire for the 1861 census if so
could any kind person do a look up for George Parry,and possibly his wife Mary Ann. I don't know their ages could be late 20s. Thanks Patmel

Yorkley is in Gloucestershire not Monmouthshire and is in fact part of the parish of Newland. It only came under the Monmouthshire registration district. There is no 1861 census for Monmouthshire available for purchase. Someone will have to physically search the entire parish.

I can search for the family for you in 1861 as the census is available in my local library, but I will have to charge you a search fee.

this is the 1851 census, and if your Parry's werefrom the Yorkley area then families listed as Westbury on Severn, and possibly Eastdean, Newnham and Blakeney  may give you some info.  cheers Fred
