scottish marriage lookup - Tidball

I wonder if somebody could assist me to find a Marriage Date for Frederick George V Tidball and Jessie Simpson.
I believe they married sometime around 1940 - 1942 at Dunferline Scotland.
I would love to solve this.

Use http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/ and you can search for yourself.

Rootschat doesn't allow us to type up info about people still living,so a marriage in the 1940's might just come in that category.

Hi Tidders

There is a marriage entry showing for them in 1940 in Dunfermline. It is outside the period where you can view the image of the cert on line at www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk (current cut off is 1932 for marriages) so you would have to order it either direct through the GROS or via the Scotlands People site on line (£10).

I do know that both Frederick and Jessie have both passed on, the last around year 2000 and they had no children.
