CLONLEIGH and RAPHOE
« on: Tuesday 15 December 09 14:16 GMT (UK) »
Hi

I have ancestors who are in this area on the 1901 and 1911 census's.  They were Roman Catholics and I was wondering which church's were in that area.

I have seen St Patrick's at Murlog (which my grandmother was married in) but don't know of any others.

Grateful if anybody has information on local RC churches in the C19th as I want to look into their records for marriages, births and deaths.  Also - are these available on line or otherwise (I live in Singapore).

Incidentally, names; McElhinney, McMullen, Ward, Ferry, Devanney, Gallagher, Sheerin, Flood.

Many many thanks
Mike

have you been in contact with St. Patricks at Murlog, the church should be able to tell you about other churches in the area
