Interested in locating Keenan family,Frank, Pat, Manus, john, Sarah, nephew Patrick,niece Nell Keenan. of Ballybay area, thats all the names I know some lived off main street also had a farm outside town, I was there 1971.

I have a Keenan family in my tree from the townland of Roo, in Aghnamullen. John Keenan, son of Hugh Keenan (name found on John's marriage cert), married Anne Coyle, 14 Jan 1866 at Lough Egish parish (RC). They emigrated to Rhode Island with their several children later but retained a house that they leased to the McMahon family in Roo through the early part of the 20th cent (it appears on the 1901 and 1911 census). The Keenans were relatives of my grandmother, Mary Coyle, who also came from Roo to the US in 1897.
