I am looking for Hamblyn family from Lambeth/southwark.
possible addresses(from bmd) are;

3 james place,union street, london road, southwark St george
14 bishps court,old bailey,london
12 Harriet street,lower marsh,lambeth

i kno wthis alot to ask ,but if you could take a look even at just acouple of addresses i would really appreciate it

No address that I could find had a Hamblyn family. Look like you will have to wait for the name index.

Hi there are no Hamblyns in Bond Street.
For the others, James Place you need RG9342 (Hen & Chicken Lane) Rg9-339 Hill St (they were the only James Places I could find)
Union St Borough High Road RG9-327 and RG9314 and Waterloo Road RG9-334
These are all for Southwark.
Hope this helps, they are being transcribed at the moment.

King James Street didn't come up in a search of the master street index.

Hi Paul,

bit late in the day but only just found this link. My family are the same few streets. Artichoke Yard is loosely interchangeable with Granby Place/Grnby Gardens at the rear of (now) 18 Lower Marsh, Camel and Artichoke PH. Lockie describes it as "a few doors in the said yard" and as of yesterday there are still a few doors in that yard.
Grove Place is long gone but ran off James St (off Lower Marsh/Charlotte Place) parallel with now Waterloo Road up to Granby St (aka Henry Street aka Aubin or Aubyn St), I suspect James Place was one of the house rows in or around James Street. Moggs New London 1849 is quite good. Hope this helps. Paul
