Coldham or Coleman/ Rotherham
« on: Sunday 27 December 09 15:24 GMT (UK) »
Hi, can one help me I'm looking for a Ernest Edgar Alexander Coldham, born in Lynn 1875, residing at 74, Masboro St. Kimberworth, Rotherham aged 6 in the 1881 Census.
There is no trace of him in the 1891 census for Rotherham. He may have changed his surname to Coleman, because he is in the 1901 Census, under the surname Coleman, living at 6, Shaftesbury St, Rotherham. Any information on his army service during WW1, he joined the Lancaster and Yorkshire regiment, any info would be extremely helpful, many thanks Transitmanred.

There was an Ernest Coldham mentioned in Dec 1872 of "Downham" in the 1891 Census, though it might not be the same one.
