Indenture of a Apprentice(Briggs)

Hello,
I have a original indenture document(dated 1855) that has nothing to do with my own research -am not to sure what to do with it.
I have located the indentured person on a well known web site,no one appears to be researching the family.

Any suggestions what I can do with it ?

Can I suggest that you post some details of the names and place involved on here and possibly the web site to which you refer.  This will cause for example a google search by someone interested in the family finding out that you have something.  I accessed this thread because I have a vague interest in the name Briggs and was then disappointed to find that there was no other detail.

There are a number of people like myself who use well known web sites without posting many details of their research because they are fed up with it being extracted and then corrupted.

Hi David ,

The Indenture is for HENRY BRIGGS of Goss Street, Chester Cheshire,dated 10th Dec 1855.
His father is Joseph Briggs - Henry was apprentice to a Tailor (Andrew Tait).
I found Henry and his family on the 1851 census living in Goss Street Chester.

They are in the wrong part of the country to be of any interest to me but hopefully someone else will have a match.

If you dont want or need the indenture then may i suggest that you deposit it at the records office for that county which will then allow future researchers the chance of seeing this document.
