Loveless family history in Cardiff area

I am looking for any iformation on memers of the Loveless family within the cardif area please.

I now know that my late grandfather Benjamin Loveless was married to Jessica Oakey and resided in Penarth. He had a sister Annie Loveless married to a Philip Grant also from Penarth.

His father was George Robert Loveless who was a merchant sailor.  I beleive that his parents may have been George and Jayne Loveless originally from england,. They possibly resided in Adelaide street in the docklands area of Cardiff.

I wold appreciate any information anybody has to offer please.

Hi Mike, I have found a Jane Loveless on the 1861 for Cardiff, I do not know if this is the correct family because you have given no idea of when she was born, but anyway take a look;

when did he marry Jessica Oakey and where

do you have the certificate which would give ages and fathers names

also witnesses names may provide a clue.

now i have hit a small brick wall

i have found a marriage for a George Robert Loveless in Cardiff in fact he is the only George Robert Loveless marriage that popped up but there is no Jane on the same page

this doesnt mean that you are wrong re his wifes name, he may have been indexed without the Robert

lest not worry too much about the marriage at the moment
one of the childrens birth certifcates will give you their mothers name and maiden name

Q2 1880 there was a George Robert Loveless registred in Cardiff 11a 295

this gives him the ideal age to be married in 1901 and to have children in 1902
 

you will need certifcates to confirm the information in the future

  just realised you mean George Roberts parents were possibly George and Jane and not Benjamins - sorry

but i have found George Robert on the 1881 Welsh census

there is a mariage for a George Loveless in Taunton in 1857
