When asking for a lookup request it is helpful if you would post the full details from any earlier or later census you have him on

Is he BRAMHALL Williams in 1881?

If so - he is BRAMWELL in 1891

You haven't given any details of his birthyear or birthplace or any details of Mary and this entry was living in Rowley Regis and was born there on both 1881 and 1891 censuses- not Cradley Heath

The 1891 reference is

RG12 Piece 2280 Folio 153 Page 24

What was his relationship to you?

If you are descended from one of his children - please give details of that child so we can check

The person who died in 1897 was BRAMWELL Williams - see freebmd and he was born approx 1847 so is the person I mentioned above  http://freebmd.rootsweb.com

Married as Brammal WILLIAMS (possibly to Mary GROVE) - GRO: 6c 22 Dudley Mar 1865 qtr.
