Hi,

Just wondering if anybody could look up a William Armstrong who was living on the Isle of Man in the 1881 Census. I have his census entry and a memorial inscription for him (see below), however he only says he was born in England and I would like to know exactly where he was born. I would really appreciate any help

Erected by William Armstrong in memory of Ann, relict of the late Peter Poole of Halifax, North America and daughter of the late John Bell of Maryport, Cumberland, who departed this life at Ramsey of April, 1853, aged 35 years. Also the above named William Armstrong entered --- August 6, 1882, aged 73 years.
