Anyone have a link to  above person  please ?
seems he was killed on the railway married to a Charlotte called lottie born Rhyl Wales June 1882 killed between 1899 and 1910 ish .
 seems to have back links to Coventry and Aston but def born Rhyl Flintshire now called Denbighshire wife said to be south wales person.

Have you checked for his death on freebmd to find what year he died ?

Have you checked freebmd to see when he married and to find Charlottes maiden name?

Have you checked the free 1901 census index for an entry for him?

Are you sure of your facts as there is no marriage or death on freebmd that matches the profile you have given.  His birth is shown and confirmed as 1882

No links to Coventry on the 1891 census - Parents were Thomas & Elizabeth - both b Denbigh

The only Welsh marriage of an Abbott to a Charlotte /Lottie was 1903 - Thomas Abbott to Charlotte Williams

 And  nothing maybe Thomas again .

Reason for  trawling Coventry area ?
his Sister Anne Abbott
 (my Nanny )  married there in 1911 C.B Lee
and quite a few Rhyl Abbot's  are Warkwickshire   born there .
  no relationship   found yet  them  other than renting of a house from a Joseph Abbott.
Moses   Brother,
 Ernest Abbott  Married  in Aston to an   Alice Rodgers.
So was worth a try  just in case I was missing some thing ..

Just in case it's the wrong marriage you can save yourself a few pounds by putting a condition on your application that you only want it if his fathers name was Thomas and brides name was Charlotte

If it's the wrong one - the GRO will only charge a £3 search fee and you won't end up paying £7 for a cert you don't want

When you get to the screen where you put the name of the person - scroll right down past Delivery Service and Number of Certificates until you see "Reference Checking Options"

Click on the brown box that says Reference Checking and put your condition on the next screen

 will do what  you advice
 He Prob did marry as Thomas but nobody  I know  who  knew of  him as any thing but Moses.......
 and its not an uncommon name here in the part I'm looking .
But maybe he hated it  and called himself Thomas Moses  . his sister  called her only child Moses Edwin Bowen .. which I thought all my life  *as he was my Dads close friend as well as cousin* prob my Dad did as well.
 He was called Edwin and we all thought that  was his   name  his daughters did as well 
So what you put  is a very  good chance of being him  although he had a brother  Thomas but he was 10yrs his junior.
