*COMPLETED* Bocking St Mary PRs - GOODMAN
« on: Friday 15 January 10 23:49 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

If there's anybody out there who can access Essex PRs, would it be possible to get a look up of the following in the Bocking St Mary registers:

Marriage of Thomas Goodman and Mary Ann Pluck 22 Jan 1813 (confirmation of an IGI submission and witnesses if possible)

Baptism of:
William Goodman, c 1815-6
Mary Ann Goodman, c 1816-7

Thanks in advance,

Whoopeee!! and thank you VERY much :-*

I note that Thomas is a carpenter for the first baptism and a labourer for the second. Maybe this is why he moved to Bethnal Green (where he is again a carpenter in 1841).
William is still living at home in 1841 (not born Middlesex), but Mary Ann died in 1824 (buried at Globe Road Burial Ground).

Thomas and Mary had several more children in Bethnal Green, including my ggg-grandmother, Louisa Goodman in 1827.

Thomas and Mary were both dead by 1851, and I can't find William so I didn't know where they had moved from and was clutching at straws when I asked for a look up of the marriage and the 2 non-Bethnal Green baptisms. I think the fact that they are together is fairly conclusive.

Thanks again for breaking down one of my brick walls,

Sue  ;D
