After putting up the previous post I went back into the Proni web site
and found a will for Mary Elizabeth McMaster in April 1910. This seems
a closer match but unfortunately does not mention any relatives names,
so is still unconfirmed.
I think I really need to trace the death Of Robert McMaster to be sure.

Thanks for your efforts.

It might be best to start from the 'beginning' with known facts to get more family information.

To start with, IGI (www.familysearch.org) lists 3 sons of Robert McMaster and Mary Elizabeth Eccles which points to an area outside Ballymena town.
1. James McMaster born 8 Jan.1865 Glenwhirry, Co.Antrim (page 157 in civil register)
2. Samuel McMaster born 4 Feb.1867 Glenwhirry, Co.Antrim (page 157 in civil register).
3. John McMaster born 29 Nov.1869 Co.Armagh (Armagh could be a mistake if wrong item was selected from drop-down menu when inputting record into IGI database).

There is an 1852 marriage in Co. Antrim for a Robert McMaster to a Mary Elizabeth ? . If this is the correct marriage there were likely several children born between 1852 (marriage)-1864 (astart of birth registration).

Hi aghadowey,
I've tried searching in Familysearch but keep getting no matches for the marriage.
Can you give me some tips on your searches that let you find this information.
I'm sure you have found the right family.
Thanks,

Was this on Familysearch. I'm not getting anywhere with it.
How did you find the sons, James, Samuel and John.

The marriage appears in index to civil registrations on LDS Pilot site-
http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#p=collectionDetails;t=searchable;c=1408347

The children are listed in IGI (International Genealogical Index) on main LDS site (www.familysearch.org)- I found them by doing parent search- simply put in father's name and mother's name and nothing else-
www.familysearch.org/eng/search/frameset_search.asp

try and confirm what I have found on the 1911 cencus.

Regards,
