COMPLETED THANKYOU! German handwriting translation please - Woerz family
« on: Sunday 17 January 10 09:48 GMT (UK) »
Yet another post card from Palestine c 1916 of the Woerz family.  I'm hoping this one has a name on the back to shed light on who the men are in the photo.
From L-R: Dorothea Woerz b 1901, Kornelia Woerz b 1900, Barbara Woerz geb. Weigold, probably Fritz Woerz, ??, Bertha Woerz b 1898; front: probably Gottlieb Woerz b 1903.
I've had a go at the back:
'ein kleine? andenken
von driner? Mueller?' or
'a small memento of ....."  who?
Also, if you have any opinions on the clothing the man with the hat, I'd love to hear them.  I'm leaning towards some sort of uniform.
I think this one will be a quick one.
Cheers and thanks for your help, Tristi

Bummer!
This photo is actually no 2 of 3 in a series all depicting the three girls.  I suspect they were given to Bertha by her mother, so the writing is most likely Barbara's.  There's nothing written on the back of the others.
I'm going to re-post the photo in the photo-recognition thread to see if anyone else has any idea of the uniform.
Thanks for your help, Peonie
Cheers, Tristi.
