George GABBITAS burial lookup - COMPLETED
« on: Monday 18 January 10 18:31 GMT (UK) »
Hi, I am looking to find where a relative George GABBITAS was buried. He died in Lincoln in 1908 (age 80), but unfortunately I don't have a lot more information.

Thanks,
Alexander

He was "of Normanby by Spital", buried 11 July 1908, Canwick Road Cemetery aged 80.

The one with the straight paths is the "Old cemetery".  The "New cemetery" has the curved paths.
Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days alive.

Thanks guys, that actually confirms I was looking for the wrong George...I've now finally found him in 1911, so a later death is what I'm looking for. He was living in Lincoln still, but I can't find any other death on FreeBMD. George was actually born in 1831 but as his wife was a few years older he always seemed to say he was a couple years older, that's what made me think it was the 1908 death. Clearly not, though because there was a George living in Normanby in 1901.

Thanks,
Alexander
