Welcome to Rootschat. Here's the link to 1911 census if anyone else wants to check it-
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Londonderry/Ballykelly/Tullyhce/593235/
(should be Tullyhoe not Tullyhce)

According to the census daughter Ruth was born c1873.

IGI (www.familysearch.org) shows a birth for John Gollaway born 24 Feb.1867 Ballykelly district (page 937 in civil register)- parents George Golloway and Isabella Moore.
Other possible children for this couple are:
1. Rebecca Gilloway born 22 Apr.1865 Co.Londonderry
2. Mary Moor Gallaway born 12 Aug.1869 Co.Londonderry
3. Elizabeth Gilloway born 20 Jan.1880 Drumachose district, Co. Londonderry

You might need to wait until 1901 census is added to National Archives website to see if George's wife is listed.

There are two Gilloway families in Tullyhoe Ballkelly on the 1911 cencus. John head of family at 2 tullyhoe, George at 4 tullyhoe, could these two be related as I can not get info as to who george's parents are.

Looks like John might be George's son (one born 1867) although age is slightly wrong. John in 1911 census has son George, daughter Isabella and another daughter Ruth (a fairly uncommon Christian name in the area). He's also put II Limavady (Pres) under religion which gives you the church he belonged to- 2nd Limavady Presbyterian Church! In census George put Ballykelly Presbyterian Church so there are 2 churches whose records might yield more details on the family.

Given George's age in the census this could be his birth from IGI Drumachose records..
George Galloway 30/8/1836, parents John and Peggy.
Possible sister..Mary Jane Gillway 25/6/1842, parents John and Peggy
No maiden name is given for Peggy.
These may or may not be yours but might be worth keeping until you get more info from other sources.

I don't know if this family could be connected.

I have a William Patton of Culmore who died in 1842. The mother of William's natural children was a Nancy/Ann Moore. Culmore is in the Parish of Tamlaghtfinlagan and the Pattons had connections with Ballykelly Pres Church.

His will makes provision for his natural children and Nancy Moore but a codicil was added 19th May 1842. He leaves £50 stg to Gracy Gilloway, £100 to her mother Bridget Gilloway, £5 to Mary McGonigle, £5 to Catherine McGonigle, £5 to Elizabeth Gilloway, £5 to Rachel (no surname) Ballymacran. These may be illegitimate children.

William Patton had a daughter Mary, who died 2nd April 1861. In her will she mentions her five half sisters namely Ellen wife of James Doherty; Peggy wife of Thomas McVey; Betty (Elizabeth Gilloway?) wife of Edward McDevitt, Kitty (Catherine McGonigle?), wife of the late Edward Deehan and Grace (Grace Gilloway?) the wife of Philip Monaghan.  If you could find these marriages you might possibly find a connection with the Gilloways of Tullyhoe.

Hope this may be of help.

Very interesting- might be worth searching for all those names in 1911 census (and 1901 when it's added to National Archives site)-
