hi, I'm trying to trace my ancestors, Catherine McKeon who married John Corcoran ( both born in 1821). The marriage took place in Adcarn & Tumna on 21.1.1846. They had a son, John who was also born in Roscommon. They came over to Sunderland around 1848. If any one has any information about Catherine and John I'd be very gratefull as all my enquires about their life in Ireland are not revealing a thing!

Hi there

I have a John Corcoran who married in Sunderland.  Although I know parents were John and Catherine from Roscommon, I cannot confirm his mother's maiden name.  Have you discovered any more on your Catherine McKeon and John since your post?

Sorry I have not found any more info on John and Catherine's Irish roots, but I can give you any amount of info on their descendants!
